Details

I wanted to confirm bug 241523 (which was never confirmed or resolved) in
Thunderbird 1.0 (20041206).  I am running Windows XP Pro, SP1.  It appears that
that all attachments are going to my default Windows temporary folder regardless
of what I choose in attachment preferences.  This occurs even if I choose "Ask
me where to save every attachment".  I am never asked and the attachment goes
straight to the Windows default.

Also, is there a reason that one cannot enter anything in the "Version" field of
the bug reoporting form?

The same version works for me as expected on Windows 2003.
