275657 - removing standard language pack makes mozilla unuseable

Description

First I installed the german language Pack. After Installation I selected it in
Preferences and restarted mozilla. As the language still wasn't german I tried
to uninstall the english language pack to force mozilla to use german.

After restart Mozilla was german but windows were no longer correctly displayed.
I had to enlarge windows to full width to see scrollbars and all icons. In the
bottom of every window this message appears:

Hmm. Perhaps the German langpack doesn't contain any locale (de-AT) version of
"tasks"?

Please post your Browser Version and the Version of the used lang-pack!

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; de-AT; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040910

I also downloaded the langpack fo Mozilla 1.7.3 from http://www.mozilla.org/projects/l10n/
mlp_status.html#contrib

Mozilla was just installed and no additional plugins except a theme are installed.

I could also send you screenshots of the bug if you want me to.

Thx! This solved the problem (now with Mozilla 1.7.5). I didn't try the method with the broken mozilla 
version. Sorry for posting an already known bug. Maybe someone should mark ist as duplicate.
