Hi ,
    I have Bugzilla 2.16.4. on RedHat Linux 9. I access Bugzilla via Windows 
XP using Windows Internet Explorer 6. When I try to attach a file bigger than 
1 meg to a bug I get a "Software Error" followed by a page of 'garble'. I 
attempted to increase the parameter 'maxattachmentsize' to a bigger size and 
also tried to set this parameter to '0' (zero) to allow any size attachment 
and still get the 'Software Error'. When I attach a file 1 meg or smaller, the 
attachment works fine. What can I do to remedy this ?

   Disregard. It would appear that this problema was on the MySQL database 
side. It was a variable max_allow_packets. No matter if the Bugzilla parameter 
is set to take or attach 'any' size file, it won't make a difference if the 
MySQL side isn't set. Maybe future build of Bugzilla can fix this problem.
