Details

1) A find in Manage Bookmarks [on a bookmarks file of 220k]takes over 30 seconds.
2) Scrolling through the Bookmarks in the browser to get to select one near the
end takes ages as its scrolls so slowly, especially as the bookmarks are in a
single list [unlike Windows Start | All programs].
It seems to have only one scroll speed [slow] unlike MS Office applications
which you can make scrolling go fast or slow depending on how far you move the
mouse.

This is also related to bug 274301 where mouse movements, screen drawing or
keyboard input in full screen email mode is very slow.

This problem has existed since I first started with Mozilla [1.4] up to and
including the current version: Mozilla 1.8a6 Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT
5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041210

The PC is a 1.7Mhz Centrino with 1.5GB memory.

The same sluggishness is not apparent in any other Windows applications.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
