Beginning yesterday (just when I finally switched my default browser to Firefox)
the graphics from my.yahoo.com for page control no longer load. This means that
I can't use Firefox to access my Yahoo home page. The page looks fine in Camino,
which means that it is not the gecko rendering engine. The Java console shows
the following error (which may or may not be related):

Error: ym_gsw is not defined
Source File: http://my.yahoo.com/
Line: 475

So perhaps Yahoo made some change to its Java scripts very recently. These are
parsed correctly by Camino, but not by Firefox.

I noticed another recent Mac bug dealing with the my.yahoo.com page not loading
at all (as well as a lot dealing with Yahoo mail and messenger). This may be
related, but it not the same--at least in terms of its effects.
Is "tools\options\Web Features\load Images\[]for the originating site only"
disabled (as it should) ?

In the javascript console, I see 18 references to CSS errors, but no javascript
errors; In view source, I see no reference to java at all. I am not at all sure
that I understand the Expected and Observed behaviour. Could you give more
detail on "I can't use Firefox to access my Yahoo home page"? Is there a recipe
by which I could reproduce the problem?
This is a Firefox problem. Yahoo's backgrounds, boxes, and some buttons failed
in Firefox 1.0.4 but they do work in 1.0. I was having a problem with adobe
acrobat trying and failing to open pdf files online and both issues were fixed
when I switched back. The only change I made that would have any impact was
loading 1.0
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050702
Firefox/1.0+

yahoo.com redirects to'http://my.yahoo.com/s/guest-promo.php'; the backgound is
plain white and the help button is text only.
Is this still a problem in FF 1.5?
