Details

The little lightbulb hints that come up on the default mac
firefox home page contain incorrect info (for macs). For
example, it says "use control-T to open a new tab, control-H
to open History", and so forth. On macos x, it's the app key,
not the control key, that does all of these things.
Note that different hints come up each time you visit the start page.
Here's the one I noticed:

Know your shortcuts. Ctrl-T to open a new tab, Ctrl-B to open Bookmarks, Ctrl-H
to view History, and Ctrl-K to access the search bar.

There might be others hiding in the hints database,
but it's probably not all that important because people
aren't likely to make note of it.
not the right componenet, but still better.
Component: Startup and Profile System → Product Site
Summary: incorrect hints for mac users → firefox google start page: incorrect hints for mac users
This might be better filed under Documentation, or whatever jurisdiction the
Google start page resides under.
