Allowed sites for popup blocking don't accept wildcards:
I am a Citibank customer and their online banking site opens popup windows from
various domains, for example: home2.citidirect.citibank.com.au. I tried to have
*.citibank.com.au in the list of allowed sites, but the wildcard doesn't seem to
work. Dare I say, IE on XP SP 2 let's you do wildcards and it seems useful.

There is no need for wildcards. Justs putting in citibank.com.au will work.
