Details

Popup windows generated from within a Java applet begin to be blocked after a
specified time period.

User profiles are lauched from a Java based chat applet (that at
http://gaydar.com.au/) in a popup window. After the initial load of the applet,
profiles are launched correctly. However, after a period of time (I haven't
measured the timeframe yet), Firefox begins blocking popups generated from the
applet, even though Popup Blocking is not enabled at all (the check box is
unticked). All other popup windows from within the browser still load as expected.

Furthermore, Firefox displays the "A popup window from this site has been
blocked" message in the Java applet's parent window, including the option to
"Block popups from this site" (which shows that Firefox is aware that the site
isn't currently set to be blocked).
