Details

There is no textual content to replace previews - "[title] preview" is useless.
So the alternate text should be blank.

Well, we do have an image caption available. Can't we use that?

Summary: Previews' alternate text should be blank → Previews' alternate text should use image caption text
Using the image caption for the alt text seems redundant - screen readers will read the alt text and then read the caption, or if alt text is shown instead of images, it will just show on the page twice. Images are always shown with their captions, except when enlarged using jquery, and I don't think this applies there.

I'm going to mark this as fixed, since the alternate text is blank for our preview images, as suggested in the original comment.
