Clicking the above link with javascript turned on gives a bogus alert saying
version 4.0 or higher is needed. Clicking "OK" to make the alert go away just
pops up another one, endlessly. The dialog freezes the regular menus that let
you turn off javascript. Clicking the "close" button on the Gnome taskbar
doesn't kill it. The only way out is to hit ctrl-W at just the right instant
while the page is reloading, or kill the browser from a shell window.

While this is accidental behavior on the part of the crazy JS on that page, it
would be easy to induce on purpose, so there should be some escape mechanism.
