How to combine the old mail of Mozilla?

I have used Mozilla suit for a long time. With the old version, I had serveral mail account and several mail folders for the corresponding account. Due to several reinstallation of the mozilla, I had to reset the mail account. However, I could not read all the mails from old folders into the mozilla. I tried to use the import function but no selection for the mozilla, only for other mailers. The old mail folders can be viewed via explorer. I would like to read old mails and combine all the mail into the new mozilla mailer. Would you tell me how i can finish this work? Thank you for your advice.
