To get problem 1. goto http://mail.yahoo.com 2. login 3. hangs on inbox page load severity: everytime work-around: using adblock, if I block all images in the form: http://*yimg.com/i/us/pim/r/medici/* it works fine again. Supposedly, this blocks 3 images and a javascript, but I also have: http://*yimg.com/*.js and it does not fix the problem. I've also tried loading the images individually with no problem. The is a .css file in the path, but it is obviously not blocked, but does give several error under the JavaScript Console. system: Gateway G6-450; 450MHz P2; 320 MB RAM; Win98SE and Win98; Firefox 1.0, Firefox Nightly Dec26; Mozilla 1.7.5 why: I am trying to get my girlfriend's folks to use firefox, so I don't have to remove spyware, and they need yahoo mail to work. thanks for any help; I have been looking for this bug on here, but couldn't get enough debugging info to do a great search.
