A tab for the front page should be added, it should be first.
What is wrong with clicking the logo?

I think a tab for the homepage is a bad idea.  (I think breadcrumbs are a far
better idea.)

I don't think breadcrums alone would be good navigation. Useing breadcrums to
show where you are is fine but there should be tabs for the top level sections
of the site. The home page is one of the main sections of the site so it
deserves a tab. Tabs aren't just for going from A to B they're for revealing the
contents of the site.
Breadcrums would be a great addition, but they're too small to be the only
navigation.

look at amazon.com, they have a tab for the front page. They would know what's
best along with almost every site that has tabs.
1. I do not see a front page tab on amazon.com
2. We don't know what we are doing? (Well, we don't :-( )
3. It's useless. We have 5 tabs already. If we're gonna have 6 tabs (more will
be too many), I'd rather see a "documentation" tab or a "contribute" tab.
