IE was able to load it in secs.

Loads fine for me. Are you sure it wasn't just network congestion or a problem
with you connection? Can you consistently reproduce it?

I cannot load the page. The page title loads but the page does not, while the
statusbar is flashing through "Transferring" "Connecting" "Waiting" and "Read"
(not always in that order).

No; I dont think that it was network congestion; Yes; I am able to re-produce
consistently.  I just retried and it went into infinite loop again.
