I don't know when this started as I hit such links irregularly. I uploaded to
the latest stable release (0.8.2) and then to the current nightly build
(27/Dec/2004). I have the same problem in all versions. Note that mailto links
work with Safari with no trouble.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Click a "mailto" link
Actual Results:  
An error box opens with the phrase "mailto is not a registered protocol"

Expected Results:  
Opened my default email client and added the email address to the "to" field

Note that mailto links work with Safari with no trouble.

Michael, any chance Eudora is your email client?  If so, do the rest of the
conditons (and solutions) in bug 269065 match?

If not, what email client do you use?
