However, it does not work;However, the "What should firefox do with this file" still appears. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.download a word document 2.click the "Do this automatically from now on" 3.try opening a word document again Actual Results: It showed the "What should firefox do with this file" Expected Results: It should skip the last step and just open the word document
I'm having the same problem, with Torrent files. They are configured to be opened with Azureus, and I checked the "do it automatically" box. However, the box keeps appearing.

I can confirm this for Firefox 1.0 in Linux for (at least) PDF files.
