I imported my mail from Outlook and it gave me a message that not all the mail
from a subfolder of my Outlook inbox had been imported. For this reason I tried
to import my Outlook mail again and got the same result. At this point I thought
I'd delete the imported Outlook folders (which had now been duplicated) and try
a third time. The two copies of the imported Outlook folders seemed to delete
ok. When I tried to import the mail from Outlook this third time however I
received the following error message:

An Error occured importing mail from Outlook
Unable to create folder to import mail into

The Outlook folders I had already imported (with their subfolders) also now
reappeared though without any mail in them. I re-deleted them one subfolder at
the time and noticed the Outlook tree re-created in the trash as I deleted it.
On emptying the trash the Trees disappeared permanently however two Outlook
titled folder remained (empty of mail or subfolders) and these remained
undeleatable.

On trying to import Outlook mail again I just receive the same error message as
above and I cannot delete the empty Outlook folders (which seem to increase in
number but not EVERY time I try to import an Outlook folder). I also tried
re-naming them and then deleting them but they cannot be deleted. A copy of the
renamed Outlook folders does appear in the trash can and I can empty the trash
can however the original empty Outlook folders remain throughout the exercise.

I also have tried removing the Mozilla suite and reinstalling it but to no
avail, the same empty Outlook folders were still there as were all my bookmarks
in the mozilla browser which tells me I probably did not uninstall the program
properly, though it beats me why this should be.

Any help with this bug, which essentially prevents one from importing his
Outlook mail and hence finally ditching that horrific mail program would be most
welcome.

PS: I did look at he previously reported bugs but I could not see this problem
as having been reported.

Best Regards,
Giuseppe
