When you click on some item which pops up a window, the window is DoA, i.e.,
does nothing. For example, on the site (http://news.bbc.co.uk/#) click on
"Talking Point". A window pops up and then does nothing. The status bar shows
"Done". This is not right.

In IE, the window is active with timed messages appearing in it.
Which version of Firefox are you using?  This WFM using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U;
Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041221 Firefox/1.0+.

Since the "Talking Point" text does not appear for me, I used the "BBC World
Service" links on the middle-right of the page.

The FireFox version is mentioned in the bug, i.e., 1.0. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U;
Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0.

"Talking Point" appears for everyone on http://news.bbc.co.uk/# It is the third
logical group (vertically) and usually in greyish purple band. Look for it and
you will find it.

I'm disappointed that we are wasting time on this kind of non-issues.

fwiw, I don't see any "Talking Point" either. Clicking on other popup links
works for me.
The link "Have Your Say" is it, i guess.
