While I was looking around making sure Firefox was secure, I ran into a pop up
blocker test on www.auditmypc.com . I am using a Windows XP PRO w/ (Firefox 1.0)
computer. Pop Up blocking is ENABLED in my Firefox browser. Out of 9 different
test, the browser passed 7 of them, giving Firefox a rating of 85% for pop up
blocking protection, which means it is not completely secure from pop ups. The
two test it failed are as follows: User-launched HREF-method popup allowing = Failed
User-launched Delayed-method popup allowing = Failed (If there is a way that you
guys @ Mozilla Firefox can fix this problem, please release an update to Firefox
As soon as you can.) I appreciate your concern. God Bless.

Summary: FIREFOX POP UP BLOCKER NEEDS SOME UPDATES!!!!! → Pop-up blocker doesn't block all pop-ups
Yeah, we hear about those two tests fairly often, because they are the two that
require you to get it just right: in the first case, you have to click OK,
because a popup comes up when it was supposed to, and in the second, you need to
click OK right away, before either their timer or ours expires (you don't want
us to allow popups forever after you click a link, do you?). Their scoring isn't
perfect, either: when I tried it a second time, after I realized I needed to be
quicker on the last test, they claimed that the first test failed, even though
no popup had appeared.

What really matters is whether you can go to real sites and browse without a
constant stream of popups, not whether or not a popup test works perfectly.
