I'm using Mozilla 1.8a4. 1. Access the URL at the top. (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/index.html) 2. Click the "1. General Information" Link to the Left. 3. See that part of the page moves (or jumps) down about 3 centimeters and the link itself is not pressed. I cannot reproduce it with Firefox 1.0. Note that this problem was discovered by Martin Spreij of the Webdesign-L mailing list. I'm just reporting it here, because I was able to reproduce it.

Please don't use 1.8a4 to report bugs, it's too old. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 262576 ***

SHLOMIF->Erik Fabert: thanks for finding the dup - I tried searching for it but wasn't able to find it. In any case, the testcase there looks pretty similar to what I have created out of this page, so it is indeed the same bug. I'll try to see if I can reproduce it with the bug. Regarding Mozilla 1.8a4: it's still the highest Mozilla release around. If people are not expected to use it to report bugs, then it's high time a new Mozilla 1.8.x version was released.

Sorry, it seems I've checked this with Mozilla 1.8a5 and not 1.8a4. The bug still exists in 1.8a5, but the person who reported it to Webdesign-L used 1.8a4. Regards, Shlomi Fish
