Add me to the list of people who hate dialog boxes that prompt the user for "Ok" or "Cancel" when other choices are more correct grammatically. I see there are a bunch of other bug reports for stuff like this, but nothing for the specific instance I just noticed. If you try to delete a mail folder, you are prompted with the question, "Are you sure you want to move the selected folder into the Trash?" The dialog box choices are "Ok" and "Cancel". The buttons should say "Yes" and "No". What's interesting about this dialog box is that the "Ok" option is on the right. Usually, it's on the left.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. There used to be a policy of not using Yes/No dialogs -- OK/Cancel being thought more intuitive, combined with a statement rather than a question in dialog box; or, more preferred, to label the buttons "Delete" and "Don't delete." (This approach is controversial, and I generally disagree with it, altho I do see certain situation where Yes/No leads to the wrong decision -- compare "Discard changes?" with "Save anyway?": "Yes" to one question is identical to "No" to the other.) xref bug 130789 (also bug 118684 for additional discussion). However, bug 329640 was just checked in to change an OK/Cancel to a Yes/No, so this should be confirmed, regardless of how it's implemented.

This was fixed as part of bug 231654. "[Cancel] [Delete <folder name>]" is now used.
