There is no URL in the status bar for URL with accents.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the demo URL
2. Put your mouse over links in the menu with accents
3. Look at the status bar

Actual Results:  
No URL

Expected Results:  
Should have URL
Confirmed using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6)
Gecko/20041221 Firefox/1.0+.
Whoops, didn't do a dupe check first.  Looks like a dupe of bug 244754, which
may be related to bug 229546.
