A caret is sometimes blinking in the URL bar, though it doesn't have the focus.
So, there are sometimes two carets: one in the URL bar and one in a form. This
bug has been there for months, but I haven't found a way to reproduce it. I
think it appears after a tab operation (like switching or closing tabs).

Also, I don't remember having found any spurious caret anywhere else. This seems
to be specific to the URL bar.

I haven't seen it with a more recent version (Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686;
en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050114, coming from a trunk CVS checkout), but as I
don't know what the cause of the bug is, this doesn't mean that the bug is fixed.

Similar to bug 280875, except I have never seen this happen before 20050111, and
have it happen regularly now, with no other circumstances whatsoever changed
(which is why I labeled that a regression).

The bug hast just occurred with
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b) Gecko/20050114.

I noticed this problem with Firefox (Debian package mozilla-firefox 1.0.2-3).
The Product should probably be changed to Core.

Moving to Core, since the problem occurs with both Mozilla and Firefox.

Setting OS to All since the problem is not specific to Linux. I get the same
problem under Mac OS X.
