When I installed Firefox, IE started crashing. OK. I figured I could fix that
later. NOW I have used Firefox to download an application file to a folder, and
immediately afterwards I found that Windows Explorer now crashes if I try to
access a folder directly. Accessing files through an application works, and
Explorer works OK in Safe Mode. But in regular Windows mode I cannot just open a
folder and click on a file to access it. I have even reinstalled Windows and
still have the problem. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and it dod not fix the
problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on My Computer desktop icon
2.
3.

Actual Results:
The My Computer window opens, and then I get an error window saying Sorry,
Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. It offers me the
option to send an error report to Microsoft, which I have not yet done.
As I'm sure you know, the Explorer is a major piece of how Windows operates, and
there is a bunch of stuff now that I cannot use, like Control Panel and Help and
Support.

Expected Results:
Allowed me to access all my files and folders.
sorry but this must be something else on your system.
Mozilla/Firefox doesn't modify system files or do something else with the explorer.

-> invalid (100% sure that this is not a bug in Firefox).
