Attempting to download file at above location (actual download link <a
href="http://www.deviantart.com/download/11168212/"> ) , browser is issued a
redirect to a valid file location. The browser however, displays the binary
file instead of giving 'save/open' dialog. After binary data is displayed,
browser hangs, screen is corrupted and X server crashes.

Other download links on this site seem to work fine. There seems to be a
problem with the download link, browsing to the same location in 'links' (text
mode browser for *nix) also displays the binary data instead of a 'save/open'
dialog. It does not crash links though. Also tried same link in
epiphany(mozilla based GTK browser), which also hangs X server. The first time
this link was attempted in Firefox the entire system hung, not just X.

Running gentoo linux, 2.6.9 kernel, firefox 1.0. Please email me if additional
info is needed.
Displaying a binary as text is often due to the server sending the wrong MIME
type (often text/plain or text/html is the default).

Crashing the X server is pretty bad, though.

Just to clarify, the bug is X hanging when the broswer is displaying that
specific binary, not that the binary is displayed...
