Changes to this setting do not have an effect on the 'Multiweek' view nor on the
setting in the View-menu under 'Number of weeks'

I am unable to reproduce this bug as you've described it.  I tested in both
Sunbird 0.2 and Calendar for Firefox.  Are you still experiencing this or can
this bug be resolved?
