Thunderbird crash when the screensaver start on a windows XP pro with service
pack 2. I has seti@home installed on my computer, I suspect that when the seti
screensaver runs and "slurp" all the cpu it's no left for thunderbird when it
need cpu time, then i probably dies...I hope that I will be able to run
applications on my computer can "wait" for others to be finished or the
resourses on the PC is availible...

Thunderbird is most likely just starved of resources, rather than there actually
being a bug with it. SETI@Home is a very resource-intensive piece of software
and therefore is going to be using up a lot of your RAM and CPU (as much as it
can get, actually) although it is supposed to limit itself to when the computer
is not being used so much.

I found that the niphk.dll is one of the components in Norman anti-virus 
application. Maybe it is an coincidence that thunderbird recives an e-mail 
while seti@home i running. The crash might occure when the e-mail contains an 
virus or the anti-virus application is trying to scan the e-mail...the 
resources is so low that the involved applications have problem to execute 
correctly??? This is just a feeling I got when starting to dig in the log...

Mattias: Windows application log is not usefull. After crash Mozilla Quality
Feedback Agent (aka Talkback) will appear. Please submit incident and provide
incident ID to this bug. If Talkback doesn't appear, please reinstall
Thunderbird with Talkback enabled with Custom Installation.

Hi again, after an reinstall included with aka thunderbird have not crashed. 
So I am still waiting. Perhaphs it will stay stable...that would be the 
best...I will report as soon as anything happens// cheers Mattias
