Original Complaint:
when using netzero my browser default changes to Internet Explorer even if i
don't want it to.

Information that I've Found out:
After reading some of the posts here on the help, i decided to contact netzero
and ask them if they knew what was going on with their software..... here was
the reply ->  "Thanks for taking the time to write to NetZero email support.

  Kindly note that once you get connected to NetZero, NetZero Home Page gets   
  automatically launched in Internet Explorer even if you've set up another  
browser as your default. Also note it is not possible to change this as this
helps in loading user preferences."  My next question is...is this legal?

ok if this a "verified" "duplicate" "bug" what i posted was a question and a
reply from Netzero.  did any one else do the same?

There's no laws saying what software can or cannot do in this manner.  If they
always launch IE, that's their choice.  Really, they should respect the system
default, but they're a private company and free to do whatever they want with
their software.
