I am using mozilla 1.8a6 and still appears.

Steps to Reproduce:
Press ctrl+f (find)
enter text in the textbox
select the whole text in the textbox
press delete
now press ctrl+z (the text you entered appears again)
find button remains disabled

Instead of ctrl+z try "right click" + "undo"
Find button remains again disabled

Did u reproduce this time?
If is posible do u want to attach screenshots?
Ah, I see it now. Neil, what can we do here, do you know?
