Hello,
This seems to be recently broken. As of version 1.7.5, middle-clicking on a link
in a mail message doesn't open the link in a new tab. My tabbed browsing
settings are:
[x] Load links in background. 
[x] Add tabs.
[x] Middle click, etc on links in web page.
[x] Ctrl-enter in the location bar.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Look at an email with a link inside.
2. Middle click on the link.
3. No tab opens in the browser window.

Actual Results:  
No tab opened.

Expected Results:  
New tab should have appeared.
