Details
I am accustomed to use the U.S. Time Clock to set my watch. The web page is at www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8java. The window which appears gives the current time (hours, minutes and seconds) at the top cotinually (that it, it changes every second). This works well in my explorer browser via "Favorites". Hoever, when I bring up this website in my firefox browser, the main window appears but the current time portion is a block requesting a click. When I click the current time does not appear, and sometimes there is an indication that java is not available. In my firefox browser preferences, java is checked.
It looks like your address is missing a /. The one you provided doesn't update in Firefox *or* IE for me, but this page: http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Pacific/d/-8/java works fine for me in Firefox.
