The New York Times site is extremely slow.  I had this problem running Fedora FC2.
After I switched to Ubuntu the problem went away but reappeared after a few weeks.
I have no problem with any other sites.

Define slow, loads slow? Scrolls slow?

Also, always provide build id please.
Resp. trying with a recent build is a good idea too :)

Please reopen if you can reproduce with a nightly trunk build.
