error message "The procedure entry point ??ONS_ConvertUTF16to UTF8@@QAE@PBG@Z
could not be located in the dynamic link library xpcom.dll" when clicking url in
email or on some web sites. It changes the active window but otherwise does not
seem to affect anything. The web page loads and seems ok. Just irritating
having to change the active window all the time. Some web pages bring up this
error 3 times before loading.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Access Cnet.com via url in email
2. click on highlighted url (sometimes but not always)browser opens and starts
loading then error message appears and brings the email client up as active
3.click back on browser to reactivate (sometimes this happens as often as 3
times before it settles down and you can read the web page
Actual Results:
Once the error message quits the browser works normally until another url is
clicked
Expected Results:
just open the web page associated with the url without any message and without
changing the active window
Like Bug 248167 and Bug 248183 a dupe. Remove the incompatible Mozilla ActiveX
Plugin (only for 1.7 and 1.7.1 official).
