Details

If the outgoing smtp server is changed while a new email is being written this
changed is ignored and Mozilla tries to send the email through the previous smtp
server.
(Q1) Which is account's(or idenotity's) SMTP choice?
 (1) Specific SMTP server (Which server?)
 (2) "Always use default SMTP server"

(Q2) What of SMTP server definition is changed while mail composing?
 (1) Changed SMTP sever name or login id which the account will use
 (2) Changed default SMTP server
 (3) Other

(Q3) Will next be a workaround?
 (1) Compose a mail
 (2) Change SMTP server definition(or SMTP choice for the account or idenitity)
     and save the change.
 (3) Choose other account or identity of From: in compose window
 (4) Choose original account or identity of From: again in compose window
 (5) Try to send

Didn't know about this option. That was actually the problem. Just one question.
Shouldn't the default option be (2) instead of any of the servers when creating
a new account?

The first question solved the problem as I said before. Thank you very much for

I think so too, then I opened Bug 222388 for this problem.
And developers are already aware on user's confusion on multiple SMTP server use,
then implementation of Bug 202468 is in progress.

Anyway, your problem has disappered.
Closing as WORKSFORME because of no flaw of Mozilla.
