On some (rare) pages, when you scroll a frame a white line artifact is created where the previous redraw met the bottom of the screen. For example, see: http://www.nafips04.ualberta.ca/ and choose any of the selections from the side list with a short browser window (to force scrolling). "Tentative Program" is a good choice. Note that if you use page-down, a single white line appears in the updated image where the image previously intersected the bottom of the screen -- if the thumb of the scroll bar is used, the problem beomes worse because of the multiple re-draws. I can't see anything in the HTML that makes this page special, but I don't see this problem in general, just in rare cases (like this page). This occurrs both in Mozilla 1.7, Copyright (c) 2003-2004 mozilla.org, build 2004061813 and in Firefox 1.0 (Linux -- Slackware 10.0/Redhat 9.0 respectively).

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter. This is one of the phenomena that appear from time to time in the development circle, but to my knowledge never appeared in stable builds.
