Similar to bug 218132, but happens in the Unsent messages folder. I have no
multiple indentities per account, but I have several account which all store
unsent messages in one outbox folder, which is located in one of the accounts.

Steps to repruduce:
1. create a message in one of the accounts (preferably one without the outbox
folder)
2. set the flag to request a return receipt.
3. save the message for later delivery (send later)
4. go to the outbox folder and view the message

Results:
Mozilla asks if it should send the receipt to the sender, but the sender is ME!

Expected:
There is no point in asking this, ignore the receipt if I am the sender.
But checking all possible identities in Mailnews may not be enough, if the user
wants to send under a spoofed address. I would suggest to completelly ignore
receipts if the message is in outbox, sent, template, concept folders,
regardless of the sender address.

I am doing this offline and have requested Mozilla to ask for each return receipt.
Ah, and I see this in Mozilla 1.7.3, I am not sure about older releases, but I
think it wasn't always this way. In some versions it worked correctly (1.3?).
The interesting thisng is, the receipt is only asked for if the sender address
(me) is on a different server then the account containing the outbox folder:

1. user1@server1
    |- contains Outbox
2. user2@server1 (yes, server1 again)
3. user1@server2

Create a message in all 3 accounts, they go into the one outbox in account1.
Only the message from account3 will produce the dialog.

Still in 1.7.6

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

This still happens on the 1.7 branch, I will check Seamonkey 1.0 soon.

TB 1.5.0.5 does this for me in my IMAP account. Any message in my outbox (sent messages) that I requested a receipt for will trigger a Confirm dialog box asking me to send a receipt when I click on it.
