There appears to be no way to change the display of times from e.g.
"06:30 PM" to "18:30" in the Sunbird release candidate. Since the former format
takes up unneccessary space in the display, and since many people would prefer
the latter regardless of that, I think it should be implemented. (It's also the
format
used in the event creation dialogue.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Sunbird
2. Create an event
3. Look at display of the event in month view, or just look at the day
view with or without an event.

Actual Results:
I always get the format with AM or PM.

Expected Results:
Displayed times using a 24-hour notation
It works for me.

Sunbird and other applications use your operating system's settings to determine
the display format. This is so that dates and times in all your applications
are displayed in a consistent way, to avoid confusion.

You can change the format in your operating system, but I do not have detsils
for Linux. Whatever desktop you use probably provides a user interface for the
setting.

I think it is good to use the system's settings for display format. However,
sunbird 0.2 (running on Linux with KDE 3.1.3) does not respect the system's
settings. I get the 24 hour format, even though my system is set for am/pm.

WORKSFORME too. Marking as such.

This should be a separate bug. Alternatively, it may just be that the
datetimepicker always uses 24hr format. However, in the event list, the proper
time format should be used. If not, please file another bug on it.
