Several .GIF images on several different websites do not display correctly using the Firefox browser for Mac OS X (10.2.8). These gif images are always small icon-type images. The images will have thin black lines through the image, making them difficult to see. Examples of the images that do not display correctly are listed below. The first image is a background image of a green arrow that appears on a Firefox/Mozilla website: http://www.mozilla.org/images/download_back.gif This green arrow displays improperly when viewed as part of a page. But when viewed directly at the URL listed here, the arrow DOES display correctly. The following images are others that have the same problem. These images do not display correctly in my browser when displayed on a regular page OR when displayed at the specific URL's listed below: http://www.geocaching.com/images/WptTypes/4.gif (small ghost icon) http://www.geocaching.com/images/WptTypes/8.gif (blue question mark) http://www.geocaching.com/images/WptTypes/5.gif (envelope icon) http://www.geocaching.com/about/cache_types.aspx (a page where they are shown) I have seen this problem at several other sites, but have not listed them here because I don't remember where I saw them. I can send you a screen shot of what these gif images look like, if you wish. My apologies if this problem has been addressed, but I could not find a bug report that fit this description when I checked. Thanks.
