Details

I configured my Mozilla to open a link in a new tab when clicked with the middle
mouse button. This worked fine with 1.7.3 but no longer works with 1.7.5 for
links in e-mails both under Linux and Windows XP.
Is this happening from within mozilla mail or when using the browser to view
http mail?
Either way try this out. From the menu select Edit, Preferences. A window will
open, select Navigator, Tabbed browsing and check Middle Click opens tab.

Also if this is occuring with msn hotmail. It isnt a problem related to the
browser. Msn uses java script to hand links in mail for security puposes i
think. Strange thing is that I also thought something was wrong, becasue msn
implemented the java script at about the same time i too upgraded mozilla.

Hope this info helps you out.
Known bug, fixed in latest1.7.
