RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 272945

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050105 Firefox/1.0+
Build Identifier: Firefox version 1.0 (20041206)

In Tools->Options, select the middle option for Window Configurate (it is the
one that allows the message preview pane to be the full width of the screen). When
you see the preview of a large message, you will lose the bottom scroll button
down arrow. The 'elevator' begins to act strange because you can push it past
the end of the screen?

This basically stops you from actually reading an entire message in the preview
pane. You have to double-click on the message and bring it up in another window.

This is similar to 223132 -- which is primarily about not having a scrollbar
at all if you view the full message headers. Somebody in the remarks does
mention this also, but didn't see any action. I like Thunderbird a lot and this
one just looks bad.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Change tools->options to middle window configuration (message preview full
width).
2. After opening a mail folder, select a long message.
3. There is no bottom scroll button.

Actual Results:
Loss of the bottom scroll button.

Expected Results:
Should have been a scroll button.
Version: unspecified → 1.0
