When I download a windows media player video file by right clicking and say
"save link as" and you make sure you are saving it as a "winodows media
audio/video file" it saves it as a plain file then you have to open it and
choose the player which you should never have to do. Please help

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.same as above
2.
3.

Actual Results:
each time it downloads the completed I have to open and choose the player even
when it s quick time file, real player file, etc

Expected Results:
Shgould download it as a Windoes Media audio/video file so when you click on it,
it automatically opens as the type of file without choosing a player.

NONE
from what url do you download these files ?
The submitter responded in a PM:
