After changing password on POP server "wrong username or password" message was displayed repeatedly on TB client. There was no stored passwords under "tools > options > advanced > view password" TB was restarted (few times), but no effect. After restoring old password on POP server TB connected immediately. Where is password stored, if it is not in view password. Is there any other possibility I could change password! I think TB should ask for password if it receive wrong password message from server.
In Firefox 1.0 there is a checkbox : Tools - Options - Privaty - Saved Password - Remenber Passwords That is absent in Thunderbird 1.0 : Tools - Options - Advanced - Saved Password As a result, once removed, I am unable to add, change or reset E-mail account passwords. This is a major irritant when using multiple mail accounts.
