Bug 69744 fixed a problem where the prefs back-end limited the proxy prefs to
2k, but the front end allowed somewhat unlimited entries.

This should probably be set to some practical limit. I've been unable to figure
out if there are any performance or filter-size concerns in either the proxy or
pref code, but I'm sure there is some limit we can place.

I've filed this under Mozilla, it would probably be desirable for Firefox FE as
well.

Which product/version are you using ?

Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v1.1.9 ?
Can you reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a1pre ?

I was using Mozilla 1.7 at the time, so I would say it applies to both...
