Details

E.g. View selection source on some content of a web page with the double quote
symbol ” or the dash symbol — (symbol numbers 8221 and 8212
respectively).

The rendered symbols are shown but not the entity references.  This does NOT
happen when you do a "View Page Source"

Example at time of writing, see page: http://www.mozilla.org/

Then "View selection source" on the "Walt Mossberg" opening paragraph.
i haven't searched for dupes yet, but the problem also occurs in the full Suite.
