Release 1.0 (20041206) If I select View->Messages->ToDo (or anything other than "All") on my Inbox, I get an empty list of matching messages, even though I do have some labeled "ToDo" (visible by their colouring). This bug does not happen on my local folders, only on the remote (IMAPped) Inbox.

Here's the localstore.rdf that triggers this bug.

I had this same problem. Deleting my localstore.rdf has corrected it. I am attaching my localstore.rdf in order to assist developers in debugging this. -Z

Hmm, the bug keeps coming back. Deleting localstore.rdf fixes it, but it reverts to broken after a few days. Anyone listening to this bug? It's been open since January and nary a response from developers...

Same problem on gentoo using 1.06 (20050716)
To my experience this is closely linked to the selected search mode ('subject or
sender', 'entire message' etc.).
Restricting view (e.g. to junk-status is junk) works nicely if search is
anything but 'entire message'.
In 'entire message' mode only a few predefined views work for me:
Recent mail, last 5 days.
People i know etc. won't display any messages. (No, I assure you I know quite a
few people from my inbox ;-) )

I too have started getting this bug. Last time I just wiped out my entire
profile and started from scratch (which took hours due to all my custom
settings). Then the Views showed up again. Now, three weeks later all Views
other than "All" and "Unread" come up blank ("Important", "To Do", etc.)
I have lots of emails with labels in my overly full inbox, and so I rely on this
feature to sort my email constantly. Very frustrating that it is so buggy.
Oh, and I tried deleting the localstore.rdf (in my
"/Users/brian/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/xey01mpv.default/US" directory) and
that didn't fix the issue.
This is on TB 1.0.6, on OS X 10.4.2, using IMAP to a wu-imap server.
When I access the same IMAP folder from my Windows machine with T-bird, the
labels show up fine!

I believe this is a dup of a problem that has been fixed on the 1.8 branch and the trunk.

Update: I was deleting the wrong localstore.rdf file. When I deleted the one in: /Users/brian/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/xey01mpv.default/ It fixed the issue (for now) Sounds like this may be fixed in 1.8, do you have a bug ID # David? thanks! -Brian

I was thinking it was a problem with view body searches - I'm not sure why deleting the localstore would help, Perhaps Scott remembers some issue here.
