When I write messages in offline mode, keep them in Unsent Messages folder, then closing and restarting Thunderbird, and then go Online and trying to send e-mails, a message "Server error-Bad adress syntax" pop-ups and mails aren't sent. Very stupid workaround: Write messages in online mode and immediately send them
Can you explain what is wrong (look at the addresses)? Try to attach a SMTP log for the error. See http://www.mozilla.org/quality/mailnews/mail-troubleshoot.html#smtp for details (same for TB).
Summary: Bad adress syntax when trying to send "Unsent messages" → Bad address syntax when trying to send "Unsent messages"
i can't believe it- i can't invoke this bug again to make a log! maybe later.. but as i remember the bug happened usually when sending to more than one recipient and with an attachment...
logfile from thunderbird when didnt sent a message
writing several mail offline some with multi recipient and attachement some with only one recipient and no attachement closing TB when reopening TB enable to send all the unsent msgs BUT if while online i reopen the first one for modification and send it directly it is sent without problem en then i can send all the other unsent without reopen it
