I didn't have the most up to date version of Quicktime, so I couldn't run wav embed files from any web site that had it. You can try it here: http://demo.hccweb.com/sound_demos.html Mozilla would show a green puzzle piece and it would say, "install missing plugins" then it would indicate that Quicktime 6.5.1 was missing and would ask me to install it. When you try to install it, it says, "not available". If you go to Firefox Central: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html there's a link to install Quicktime. But it sends you to the wrong page. You are sent to: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ where you can get Quicktime, but not with all the extensions, AND you are forced to download iTunes as well. I was able to get my browser to work by doing the following: Go here to download the standalone version of Quicktime 6.5.2: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone/ That is where the plugin finder should be directing users. Thanks, - Steve
cc: jst, I have no control of the backend.
