I'm trying to compile and run Firefox 1.0 on OpenBSD 3.6. It will compile if I
use the --with-pthreads option, but it dumps core on startup.

$ uname -rs
OpenBSD 3.6

$ eg++ -v
Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/i386-unknown-openbsd3.6/3.3.2/specs
Configured with: /usr/obj/i386/gcc-3.3.2/gcc-3.3.2/configure --verbose
--program-transform-name=s,^,e, --disable-nls --with-system-zlib --enable-cpp
--enable-languages=c,c++,f77,objc,java --enable-sjlj-exceptions --with-gnu-as
--with-gnu-ld --enable-shared --prefix=/usr/local --sysconfdir=/etc
Thread model: single
gcc version 3.3.2

$ cat .mozconfig
. $topsrcdir/browser/config/mozconfig
mk_add_options MOZ_OBJDIR=@TOPSRCDIR@/firefox
ac_add_options --enable-debug
ac_add_options --enable-shared
ac_add_options --enable-tests
ac_add_options --enable-default-toolkit=gtk2
ac_add_options --enable-xft
ac_add_options --enable-crypto
ac_add_options --with-pthreads

I am attaching a copy of the output produced.

you need to compile NSPR differently, and glib if you're using it. See
http://www.mozilla.org/unix/threading-on-unix.html

This is probably invalid
It builds and runs fine for me. Note that OpenBSD 3.6 does not come with eg++,
and I use g++.

You can find my build instructions here:

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.
