I had Foxfire running and I.E. Foxfire was faster no doubt. But
I.E. has Mail plugin. So I would use FF for browsing but I.E. to
mail pages or links back to me. I decided to download a FF supplement
plugin that looked like it was Email also. After reboot the problems
started in both I.E. and FF. Here is what happens. You start the
browser and type in a URL. www.dogpile.com for example and the
Systems just forward clicks and put's http:/// into the URL windows.
and there is a Display of a Windows DLL at the bottom but it's flashing
to fast to read. As of Now I can't use or restore or fix I.E. or 
Foxfire. I thought you might could resolve or instruct on reload or
soemthing so I can use my Faster Computer on the Internet.

Can you be a little bit more specific about what you downloaded for Firefox ?

After downloading two Plugins Firefox won't start and it also
appears to have made I.E. get this:  http:/// and it just
keeps forward clicking.

Did you download an extension for mail?
What extension , what url ?
Or was it a plugin , like java, flash, shockwave etc ?

Are you sure your proxysettings are right ?

(I'm quite puzzled)
