The progress bar (green barthat moves left and right) and the page loading
indicator (rotating dots) do NOT stop moving even though all mail has loaded
completely.

Confirmed in trunk nightly build 20050117 on Win2k. The activity indicator at
top right will move for days without stopping and the progress bar at bottom
right moves continuously but eventually will stop.

I found that the progress bar stops when opening any message that
is not yet in thunderbird's cache, while the loading indicator keeps
rotating.

Just installed trunk build 20050213, and the activity indicator is working
properly again. Works for me.

Same problem behavior is back in 20050304. So it's broken again. Is anyone
listening? Can we at least get this one confirmed?

I have consistently experienced this behavior in 1.04, and it continues in 1.0.5
(20050711)which I just installed. I am running on Windows 2K SP4. This bug has
been reported a number of times recently in the Thunderbird bugs forum. I also
have Firefox 1.0.4 installed (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US;
rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4).
I just updated to 1.05 today (linux) from 1.02 and this problem started (never
saw it with 1.02).

confirming, it happens with my mom on thunderbird 1.0.7 too, the worst part is hitting stop doesn't make the bar stop moving, which confuses her :(
